Omkar Speciality Chemicals Limited (OSCL), a manufacturer of Intermediates and Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients (APIs), is fully geared up with the help of its existing capacities to take care of the market demands during the current Year.

With its newly developed products and also various approvals received from its customers, the Company has received concrete indents in the month of April, 2015, from its customers in India as well as from different geographies, worth close to Rs.100 crores to be executed during the Current Financial Year.

Omkar Speciality Chemicals Limited (including its wholly owned subsidiaries) has 9 Units in the State of Maharashtra, India (5 Units in Badlapur, Dist: Thane, 3 Units in Chiplun, Dist: Ratnagiri and 1 Unit in Mahad, Dist: Raigad) with a total volumetric installed capacity of 4920 MTPA.

We wish to inform you that, our Company’s claim for process patent for an Advance Intermediate namely “BENZENESELENINIC ANHYDRIDE”, having special applications in pharmaceutical industry has been accepted by the Patents Office, Govt. of India, vide their Certificate No. 022/11999 Patent Registration No. 263298 dated 17th October, 2014.

We wish to submit for the information to all concerned that, our wholly owned subsidiary, M/s. Lasa Laboratory Private Limited, has been successful in obtaining the Certificate of Suitability from European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & Healthcare (EDQM), vide certificate No. R0-CEP 2013-184-Rev 00 dated 15th October, 2014, for selling its product “FENBENDAZOLE”.

This certificate will be useful for the Company in marketing its above product to regulatory customers in the European Market for Veterinary use.

Omkar Speciality Chemicals Limited is pleased to invite the Shareholders of the Company, to visit its Plants located in the vicinity of Badlapur on Saturday, 1st November, 2014. This Plant visit is a half day program and is limited for 100 people. Omkar Speciality Chemicals Ltd. is pleased to announce that the Shareholding of the Promoter’s Group has been increased from 11,858,816 shares (60.42%) as on 30th September, 2013 to 12,569,080 shares (64.04%) as on 15th November, 2013, through secondary market acquisitions.

Further, it is our privilege that, IDFC Premier Equity Fund (Mutual Fund) has acquired 880,510 shares (4.49%) of the Company in the recent past, from the secondary market.
